Textural, juicy, honest.
Chic Fille is JoieFarm's proprietor and winemaker, Heidi Noble’s side label; the term translates to pretty girl or cool girl.
This one (there is a small series under this label) is made entirely of Pinot Gris and also in a natural method. Chic Fille is the result of practices she's been playing with for 15 years: native yeast fermentations, lees contact and semi-carbonic fermentations, for example.
It has a hazy salmon pink hue and suggests aromas of orange pekoe tea, bruised strawberries and peach pit with smoky undertones. The palate has a vivace prickle, is juicy, dry and earthy. Straightforward but honest.
